New Table

We finally got a table where we can all fit! I found this table on craigslist and it is GREAT! The best part is it was a good price!

Yesterday Zoey was eating a miniature candy bar in the kitchen and I look over and she is snoring away!

Tessa's First Day of Preschool

All Day Kindergarten

Todd is in all day kindergarten it is a little over 8 hours a day. So it has been a big adjustment for him. Last week I went to pick him up and the kids sit in a line and wait for the parents to come pick them up. I peeked around the corner to see him and he was falling asleep in line! We live about a minute from school and he has been falling asleep by the time we get home, poor guy! Here is a picture of him and his long legs last week after school, he comes home takes his school clothes off and gets straight into his jammies!

Zoey is in a big girl bed now and so nap time is pretty much not happening around here. But she gets so tired in the late afternoon since we get up early for school now that she is falling asleep pretty much anywhere. For example...

Dentist Appointments

Today the kids had dentist appointments and it was a little overwhelming. Here is a picture of Tessa being cool as a cucumber, enjoying every minute of her cleaning and xrays. No cavities! Yeah!
This was the only picture of Zoey I got because I had to hold her down while they cleaned her teeth. But here she is enjoying her sticker and playing the video games. No cavities! Yeah!

Here is my sweet Todd having a nuclear level meltdown. You see last August he had 2 root canals and a filling at a different dentist. That dentist told me that since we used an oral sedation he would not remember the appt and it would be fine. Well news flash my son remembers most of the appt. So getting him to go today was tricky. They took a few xrays today and I could hear him crying a little from the other room. Then he saw Tessa getting her teeth cleaned with the cold water and the air and he lost it. So long story short no cleaning today and he has 2 more root canals and 2 fillings that need to done. In a way I was glad because this is the same thing the other dentist told me last August, so in the last year he has not got any new cavities. You are all probably thinking.. geez brush that kids teeth! :) A little side note is Todd does not have any enamel on his teeth so he is prone to more tooth decay. I have to say my heart aches for him because I hate going to the dentist as much as he does. I had to be IV sedated for my dental work last year 12 cavities and 2 root canals. So it is my mission to take the kids on a regular basis so they don't have dental problems. Hopefully after Todd gets this work done he will be done with the dentist except for regular check ups.

First Day of School

Yesterday was Todd's first day of Kindergarten. He was so excited and definately ready! I did not cry when I left him but I did wonder what he was doing all day and if he felt happy and secure in this new place.

Kids Rooms

We finally got the girls on one room and the boys in another room! The girls have a flower and butterfly theme and the boys have a john deere and camouflage theme. Todd is excited to get "those sisters out of my room." And the girls think their room is so pretty but Zoey is missing her crib and told Zack he could not have it because it is her crib. Kind of funny I guess she is attached since she has been in one for almost 3 years and never climbed out the whole time, I guess she just liked it in there. :)

Princess Zoey

Zoey just loves to dress up! As soon as she gets up in the morning she puts on her dress up clothes and does not take them off except to eat! She is so CUTE!

I found this guy outside the other night when I was watering the garden! He was about 3-4 inches long.
